  • BRIC Arts Media – Free and low-cost cultural programming including performance, media arts, and youth programs in Brooklyn.
  • Arts Business Collaborative – Provides fiscal sponsorship and capacity-building for BIPOC-led creative projects.
  • Queer Art – Provides mentorship, exhibitions, and grant opportunities for LGBTQ+ artists.
  • THE SHED: Open Call – Commissions emerging NYC-based artists of all disciplines with an emphasis on equity and experimentation.
  • A.I.R. Gallery Fellowship Program – A 12-month professional development program supporting emerging and underrepresented women and non-binary artists.
  • Bluestockings Coop – A collectively-run feminist/queer bookstore, café, and activist center on the Lower East Side. Worker-owned with a free store component and volunteer-powered radical programming
  • WOW Café Theatre – East Village grassroots feminist theatre run on anarchist principles by and for women & trans folks, especially women of color, with free-to-attend experimental shows and performances
  • New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) – Offers fellowships, emergency grants, and discipline-specific awards. Many are open to queer, trans, and nonbinary artists based in NYC.
  • Queer|Art Mentorship + Grant Programs – Annual fellowship, grant cycles, and project funds supporting LGBTQ+ artists in NYC across disciplines.
  • Leeway Foundation – Art & Change Grants – Funds queer and trans artists engaging in social change in the NYC/Philly area. Especially accessible to emerging and grassroots creatives.
  • Arts Business Collaborative – Fund for New Leadership – Provides funding, fiscal sponsorship, and capacity-building for BIPOC- and queer-led creative projects.
