Housing
- Ali Forney Center: 24/7 LGBTQ youth housing with drop-in shelter, meals, medical care, and case management.
- The Door: A Center of Alternatives – A comprehensive youth services hub for people aged 12–24 offering gender-affirming healthcare, housing support, legal aid, LGBTQ+ programming, education, job training, and free meals. The Door centers low-income, undocumented, LGBTQIA+, and system-impacted youth in all its programming. Walk-ins are welcome at their SoHo center. (door.org)
- New Alternatives for LGBTQ+ Homeless Youth: Supports LGBTQ+ youth and young adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability through housing navigation, case management, mental health support, employment services, life skills workshops, and community meals.
- Covenant House New York : Provides 24/7 emergency shelter, transitional housing, healthcare, education, workforce development, and supportive services for young people ages 16–24 in an LGBTQ+-affirming environment.
Youth Education
- Queer Liberation Library – A free digital library of 1,200+ LGBTQ+ ebooks and audiobooks, ideal for youth in restrictive environments.
Family
- Family Equality – Resources, toolkits, and events for LGBTQ+ families and GNC youth allies.
- The Family Acceptance Project is a nationally recognized research, education, and intervention initiative that helps families support their LGBTQ+ children.
