Youth Housing Resources

• Ali Forney Center – 24/7 LGBTQ youth housing with drop-in shelter, meals, medical care, and case management.
• The Door – A Center of Alternatives – A comprehensive youth services hub for people aged 12–24 offering gender-affirming healthcare, housing support, legal aid, LGBTQ+ programming, education, job training, and free meals. The Door centers low-income, undocumented, LGBTQIA+, and system-impacted youth in all its programming. Walk-ins are welcome at their SoHo center. (door.org)

• Queer Liberation Library – A free digital library of 1,200+ LGBTQ+ ebooks and audiobooks, ideal for youth in restrictive environments.

Family Resources

• Family Equality – Resources, toolkits, and events for LGBTQ+ families and GNC youth allies.
• NYS Office of Children & Family Services – Legal support, name/gender marker guidance, and youth protection.
• The Center (NYC) – TGNC Programs – Peer-led support groups, family initiatives, and long-standing TGNC services.
